Anything less than mad, passionate, extraordinary love is a waste of time. There are too many mediocre things in life to deal with and love shouldn’t be one of them.

Book Recommendations Part 2! (first part here)

I can assure you that despite some questionable font and image choice for some of the book covers, these books are fairly good (at least to me) and entertaining.

  • Flat-Out Love by Jessica Park
  • Me Before You by Jojo Moyes (if you’re not keen on taking a sensitive issue like euthanasia, stay away from this one. But give it a chance because it’s a beautiful book.)
  • I’ve Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella (surprisingly fun)
  • How to Kill a Rock Star by Tiffanie DeBartolo (my thoughts on this book here)
  • Graffiti Moon by Cath Crowley
  • Good Oil by Laura Buzo
  • North of Beautiful by Justina Chen Headley

Also, ADD ME ON GOODREADS or recommend me a book. :))

The power of music rests in its ability to reach inside and touch the places where the deepest cuts lie. Like a benevolent god, a good song will never let you down. And sometimes, when you’re trying to find your way, one of those gods actually shows up and gives you directions.

- Tiffanie DeBartolo, How to Kill a Rock Star

The book is not without loopholes but i can never turn down a book that’s well written despite the warning signs in my head like 'THIS DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!' 'THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE. HAH'. It’s fiction, so i’m more or less allowed to be forgiving right?

Will i recommend this? Yes. Like i said, the book is well written. The characters are raw and will pull you in an instant. It’s one of those books that you will feel deeply connected to not because of the familiarity of the situations the characters get into but more so because it will make you feel what they’re feeling. Not every book or story can do that. To put it simply, it will move you.

To be honest, this book drove me nuts. My feelings felt abused. haha But i can’t lie and say it’s a terrible book just because i felt cheated. Pick it up if you’re willing to read something that crosses the feeling of only being satisfied because the story ended up how you want it to. :)

I’m only @ page 140 of 429 and there’s nothing much to say but if along the way, in the next few pages or the end doesn’t come to terms into something i deem acceptable, my heart is fucked again.
