120118 Cebu! Cebu! A Celebration of Cebu’s Finest Exhibit @ SM City
“Una” is the first car in the world manufactured using indigenous materials exclusive to Cebu patterned from a 1969 Prosche 356. Designed and manufactured by Clayton Tugonon, the exterior is purely made from coconut flower’s stalk and rattan strips. The dashboard comes from a blend of two-toned shells while the steering wheel and shift knob are made from Shagreen. It was one of the highlights at the 2011 Fame Exhibit in Manila to showcase what Cebu can do.
There’s a couple more stuff like furnitures, gowns etc featured on the exhibit but this one stood out the most. Didn’t bother taking pictures of the rest because i was with my cousins and we had planned on going somewhere that night before some of them leave for Cotabato.
On another note, i ended up wearing things that don’t go well together that night. lmfao I just noticed from looking at the pictures earlier today. I also don’t understand why i ended up picking the boots when my legs still hurt from all the walking i did the past few days. You really couldn’t blame me though or well, can’t blame myself. We just arrived from Camotes the same night and i wanted to sleep so badly but i really don’t want to miss going out with my cousins for the last time (this year). As my brother call it, ‘TIIS GANDA’ (kind of ‘fashion before comfort’) ako that night. HAHAHA
